Objectives & Approach

HYSAWA works with Local Government Institutions and partner organizations to improve the hygiene, sanitation and water supply conditions for communities in rural and peri-urban areas of Bangladesh. We promote decentralized service delivery and demand driven financing by Union Parishads the lowest tier of government. Our ultimate goal is to contribute to poverty reduction through improved and sustainable water, sanitation and hygiene services.
