Scope, Activities and Summary Results
|
|
Scope:
To provide integrated, lifesaving and life-sustaining services for refugees and host community populations that reduce mortality and morbidity associated with under nutrition
|
|
Activities:
- Project staff will be given training on planning, accounting, public procurement and contract management, monitoring of activities and reporting.
- Project staff and volunteers will be given formal training with necessary tools and IEC/BCC materials and they will do the community mobilization
- Project staff will be trained on community mobilization, awareness on COVID-19 and water and sanitation. These staff will further orient volunteers to facilitate and assist closely to the community.
- About 8,000 people will receive hands on orientation from project staff and volunteers on COVID-19, WSP and hygiene sanitation issues.
- In areas where other projects/actors are engaged to work on similar objectives, HYSAWA will go for strategic partnership with those actors for a complementary approach to avoid duplication.
- HYSAWA primarily aims to fund O & M of 100 water points, 20 latrines, 20 garbage bins and 30 drainage systems. It also includes new construction of 08 communal latrines, desludging of 20 latrines, distribution of 800 MHM kits and water quality testing of 100 water points. Necessary numbers of hygiene sessions will be done.
