Scope, Activities and Summary Results

Scope:
Improved access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene services for targeted men, women, boys and girls in Rohingya camp.
|

Activities:
- Staff engagement and orientation
- · New construction of latrine and bathing place
- · 20 new latrines of four cubicles and 10 bathing place of three chambers.
- · Installation of safe water points
- · Ten (10) Deep Tube Wells will be installed including platform. After installation selected users will be given orientation on O & M of TW and its cleanliness and they will also be given training on Water Safety Plan (WSP) to protect possible scope of secondary contamination during collection, transportation, storage and consumption and hence reduce water borne diseases.
- · Installation of Solar Light System
- · To ensure proper lighting system, solar light system will be provided in all latrines and water points.
- Training on O & M of latrine and water point
- Hygiene promotion session – 20,000 people
- · Distribution of Hygiene kits and Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM) kits
Hygiene Kit:
- Bathing Soap-100gr-39 pcs,
- Laundry soap-130gr-21 pcs
- Tooth Brush-child and adult -5pcs,
- Towel size: 3' x 5'-2pcs,
- Sandal (adult -2pairs, child -4 pairs)
Menstrual Hygiene Management Kit:
- Cotton Cloth (24 Inch X 32 inch) – 5 pcs,
- Panty – 3 pcs
- Laundry Soap – 2 pcs,
- Plastic Bag with logo – 1

- 10 water points, 20 latrines, 30 solar lights installed.
- Hygiene promotion training to 20,000 people.
