Scope, Activities and Summary Results
|
|
Scope:
Access to safe water supply and sanitation services increased and capacity of community people is strengthened to manage water and sanitation facilities hygienically in community clinic.

Activities:
- Staff engagement and orientation
- · Construction or renovation/repairing of latrine with solar light system
- · Out of selected 12 Community Clinics, five clinics have no latrines and under this project five (05) new latrines will be constructed
- · Installation/renovation of safe water points
- · Out of selected 12 Community Clinic, in four clinic there is no safe water options. To ensure safe water access within the CC, four (04) Deep Tube Well will be installed including platform.
- · Installation of Solar Light System
- · Solar light system will be provided in all latrines and water points.
- · Water quality testing
- · During installation of water points there is an obligatory prerequisite of water quality testing for ensuring safe water prior commissioning of these water points. So, water quality particularly faecal coliform, Arsenic, Saline (Chloride), Iron, and Manganese of all water points will be tested prior commissioning.
- · Installation of garbage bin
- · Three different plastic bin (Penguin plastic bin of RFL or equivalent) marked as organic, inorganic and clinical waste will be placed in each community clinic to drop such garbage.
- Training on O & M of latrine and water point
- · Monitoring of the activities

- · 05 water points, 12 garbage bins, 05 latrines, 10 solar lights installed.
