Scope, Activities and Summary Results

Scope:

  • Knowledge and understanding of people increased to mitigate disaster impacts on water and sanitation facilities.
  • Demonstration of disaster resilient water points, and improved sanitation facilities.

As per plan total 10 deep tube-wells with raised platforms have been installed as demonstration, which are disaster resilient. At the same time total 10 disaster resilient household latrine have been constructed as demonstration. 

 

Summary results:

 

About 10000 people from 10 selected most vulnerable villages are benefitted from the activities of this project. 5000 people are directly be benefited from awareness messages, at least 70% of whom are women and children as they are mostly available at home during sessions. Field worker used pictorial chart and book / BCC materials during conduction of awareness sessions.
